Dead End Books was founded
in 2002. Our mission is to provide our customers with the best of Crime
and Mystery novels as well as collectable and signed first editions. We
also have great skill at locating hard-to-find or out of print titles.
Do you do special orders?
Yes. Even if a book
may not be in print, we'll do everything we can to locate a copy for
you. Just send an email with the title and author to special@deadendbooks.com.
OK, what if I just want to
know what the third book in a series is or can't think of an author or another
unspecific questions?
We'll do what we
can to help you. Send an email to info@deadendbooks.com. For information
about the order of books in a series, we recommend FictionDB's mystery
database: http://www.fictiondb.com/MysteryDB/default.htm
What is your return policy?
We'll take any book
back within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. The book must be
returned in the same condition that it was sold in. Contact returns@deadendbooks.com
and we'll send you a postage paid return label.
Do you charge sales tax?
At this time only New York
State residents will be charged sales tax (8.75%).
What are your shipping rates?
There is a flat
rate of $3.50 per order plus one of the 3 shipping options in the table
below:

Media Mail (approx 10 days) @ 0.50 per pound
US Postal Service
Parcel Post (approx 7 days) @ 1.55 per pound
US Postal Service
Priority Mail (approx 2 days) @ 2.35 per pound
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. All international
orders will be sent via Air Mail. On international orders shipping will
not be computed at the time of purchase. Within 24 hours we'll send
you an email with the shipping cost and we'll pull your books from stock.
You'll have 72 hours to either accept or decline. If we don't hear from
you, your book will be returned to stock.
